We own a 1969 PA28R Arrow, and when out flying last week, took off, tried to engage gear up and the engine analyzer and Garmin 430 shuts off. Gear went up. This week, took off, Garmin 430 and JP Engine analyzer stayed on, and gear gave a shudder, electronics seemed to dim and the gear would not go up.

Turned off all electronics, including fuel pump, rotating beacon, transponder, and gear came up ok. Feels like there is a short or excessive energy to engage gear motor.

Anyone have this happen to them?

Thanks!
Nick
