I have no picked up my plane yet, and will not until the 31st but until then I am trying to familiarize myself with everything I can about it. I am reading about issues with the fuel selector cables stretching and not allowing one to select a tank properly and possibly causing fuel starvation... Is this something anyone knows anything about?

Also can anyone explain to me a little further the system in the apache. I come from a bellanca viking where all I have to worry about is left, right, and aux. No crossfeed. I know my instructor will go through all this with me, but I would like to learn what I can on my own and ahead of time so I have a better understanding of the system when I get there.
