1977 turbo-Arrow. I'm trying to remove the plastic panel on the pilot side that covers the gear selector, the gear indicator lights and the gauges underneath the pilot side control column. We're trying to sort out some autopilot issues and need to remove the Century II radio coupler that is mounted underneath this panel...to get at the coupler I need to remove the plastic panel. We've figured out everything else, but can't remove the gear selector handle to slide the cover off over the gear switch....it is not obvious or intuitive.

Does anyone know how to remove the gear selector knob? Thanks in advance to the forum for an answer!!
