I have a 180B (1963) Cherokee and I have high fuel pressure basically at the red line.

It's always been high since I've owned it 10+ years, but recently seemed a little higher.

I had the gauge re-calibrated and there is also a new fuel pump.

The mechanic checked the psi at the line and it seemed ok, if I'm not mistaken.

He also replaced a small hose, not sure which one that was probably original. But, no change.

I can turn off the electric pump and hear it turn off, but no change in the gauge.

It doesn't matter if I'm taxing or flying, it's pretty much the same.

Any idea as to why it might show high? Everything I read is where the worry is when it's too low.

Thanks.
