I'm curious to see what the thinking out here is about heating your engine in the winter months, I have the oil sump heating elements on my O-320 E2D .Last yr. I left it on all winter , It would make more sense to me rather than let the engine get cold then heat it when your ready to go flying because thats when I think the most moisture would be created do to the cold metal warming up . And if leaving it heated does it do anything to the oil sitting on the bottom of the sump being heated . Thanks Doug
