Comanche 180 with STEC 50 (all steam gauges)
HDG mode worked fine when we purchased the plane a year ago. After a few flights there were times that the autopilot would not respond to the HDG BUG, and sometimes it would.
Now, in heading mode it doesn’t respond at all to the HDG bug.
Our only way to use AP now is in STB mode. (Our GPS is old)
Haven’t pulled any avionics yet to check connections etc.. but does anyone have ideas as to what may have failed or happened?
