I’ve developed some early crazing on a couple of my Dakota’s windows. I have to take out my Airtex interior because it was not installed correctly by previous owner, so it seems like a good time to address the windows. I’ve gone through all of the prior threads on the topic of windows, and it seems like there is a lot of support for Great Lakes Aero instead of LP Aero. I am wondering if anyone that has installed Solar Control windows (Great Lakes) can offer an opinion regarding the heat and light reduction in the cabin. I spoke to someone at Great Lakes over the phone who described these windows as “light grey.” LP Aero offers a darker option which is legal for the center and back windows, so I am looking for any thoughts that might sway me one way or the other. Thank you in advance.
