Here in Louisville, KY this weekend it was great weather. It was cold, but good performance from the plane. I was at 3,500 ft, full fuel and by myself. I had the engine set at 2,480 rpm by the digital hand held tach, from sporty's, and was indicating 130mph. It's not bad for my cherokee 140 with 160hp. I was seeing climb rates at no less than 1,000 ft/min. At 1,500 ft with the tach set at 2,450 I was well above the 130mph and it was soooo smooth out. You got to love flying on days like these.
