I believe I've just about figured out how to get my camera in a good mounting for a decent video, dampening the vibrations and using a neutral density filter to get rid of the prop effect… I'm shooting out the front glass, suction-cupped to the left top inside of the glass. Only trouble is the annoying reflections from the "dashboard" and things below such as my hands, etc… Does anyone else here mount that way and have some solution for getting rid of reflections from the glass? I was thinking maybe putting something like a square of black cloth directly behind the camera, attaching to the glass with tiny suction cups, but at that point it may start to impact own view out the window. As it is, the camera is well out of my way, up behind the glare shield.
