I need some help troubleshooting a gear down light problem.

I saw another thread on 'no 3 greens' but this is a different problem. By the way, that thread was helpful because it ruled out a bunch of issues.

The problem: I get a nice, bright gear down green light but only one at a time. Put a second one in and it is significantly dimmer. Put the third one in and you can't see it lit in daylight. So I figured out the gear is actually down by putting on one bulb and swapping to each socket, one at a time. And yes, I verified gear down by asking another pilot to check it out on a low pass. :)

This is the first time it has done this since I bought the airplane. Gear seams to go up and down quickly, with no issues and no stopping. So I assume this is a lighting circuit problem?

Gear unsafe light works as expected. Comes on and shuts back off.

What could cause this?
