Dusk flight out, gear came up no issue.
Night flight home, take off, gear switch to UP, no in-transit light, 3 greens remain on, no warning lights. Gear confirmed down by the tower.
Considering it's night, I leave the switch where it is and drag it home nice and slow. Landing checklist complete with gear switch down, 3 greens remain on. Landing is uneventful, if not a little high (been a while since I did a night landing).
Once tucked away, I inspected the gear for physical reasons it wouldn't come up. Looked fine. Also checked the pitot on the fuselage, no blockage noted.
Thoughts?
The mechanic wants me to check the hydraulic pump in the back to ensure there's fluid in there. I was just back there a couple weeks ago and I'm pretty sure it's fine. What else should I be looking for, checking, testing?
Tks!
