Question I’ve checked internet and asked a couple A&Ps
Is there a time or hour life for engine fuel pumps. Yesterday did a pertly steep climb at a fairly heavy gross to get on top with the PA32 260. the new last winter JPI900 started flashing low fuel pressure 3.6 psi flipped on electric up to 4.5 no problems with engine performance. temperatures good. Pump rated 4-6 psi as I understand. But got me thinking about life of pump as I grew up with small block chevys and fuel pumps were a common replacement. What’s your thoughts
