I'm getting things up to snuff. I have my new gascolator in, my glass cover over the oil & fuel gauges, & some Bogert copper cables on the way. I noticed the fasteners that hold the air box(I think that be the name) are rather played out. They are a 'push in & twist' type of fastener, but they don't hold tight at all. The cover to the box is rather loose. I am thinking about removing them and just use the appropriate size stainless screw/nuts, & washers. Does one see any problem with that? I could search out a new twist-in type fastener, Chief Aircraft & maybe the local Wag-Aero seem to have a lot in the fastener department. Thanks
