Engine monitor question.

I am looking to get some sort of engine monitor for my Cherokee 180. All I have now it an egt gauge that only works 5% of the time, we will just say its inop.

I would like to have cht/egt and possibly fuel flow. I was looking at the ELECTRONICS INTERNATIONAL UBG-16 as it can do all that an a few more things.

I guess what are your thoughts on this system. And what is meant my this can only be used at a secondary monitor?
