On the POH checklist (PA28-181) it says to turn off the air conditioner (if installed) but doesn't say anything about the blower motor. The motor is electrical, and adds load to the alternator, but does it rob the engine of power? Should this be turned off during takeoff? (I really hope not since it is the only thing keeping me from melting from engine start to altitude!)
