It is time to put some money into our avionics. This is our current setup:

MX-170 connected to Ki214
MX-170 connected to KI-201
KR-86

Both indicators are no longer reliable enough for IFR. I have dumped money into the 214, but I haven't spent a cent on the 201. I'm considering buying a new King GS receiver and indicator to replace the 214 and trying to rebuild/repair the 201. The MX-170s have been great up to this point and the comm sides are both still good. I would like to hold onto them unless there is a good reason to replace them. We fly light IFR with minimum 800 ceilings, usually just to get on top. I was saving for a WAAS GPS, but we decided to move that money into savings for an Archer or 235 due to our growing family. Is there anything else that I should be considering?
