Greetings,
In my Cherokee 180, I've been noticing that during very slow flight and particularly when practicing stalls, carbon monoxide spikes to unsafe levels per my detector. In normal straight and level flight they drop to undetectable levels. I had my A&P go over the exhaust system with a fine tooth comb and no leaks were detected.

Any thoughts on why this may be happening and what to do about it?

Thank you!

Mike
