I normally fly solo with a good fuel load, but an empty baggage compartment. I'm not satisfied with my landings, which seem a bit too hard to me. I've heard suggestions about adding some weight to the baggage compartment to shift the CG aft, somewhat offsetting the weight of the O540-J3A5D up front. I flew to Idaho around July 4th with a full baggage load (around 75-85 pounds), and it seemed to land a lot more comfortably.

Any comments here would be appreciated!
