I have a question about the SLE cover on a turbo E aztec. The end cover on the alternator is supposed to have a 1.25" nipple for the scarf air tube. One side of mine has the correct one and one side doesn't (it has 1" with a roll of black tape for 'shim'). Hartzell makes one that is 1" and 1.5", but does not know anything about the 1.25" cover installed by Piper. The piper P/N #is 26890-000, which I haven't been able to find. Does anyone know where i might find one or have a cross-reference to one from Hartzell that is the correct size?
