My autopilot has always tracked about 5 degrees left of the heading bug. I have always just used the left edge of the heading bug. But now that I have my instrument rating, this is getting annoying. Furthermore, I noticed that the AP tracks the GPS course (GPSS) about a quarter mile left of course as well. I have checked this in all wind conditions, and the results are basically the same.

Is there a way to adjust this? Or should I wait until my annual in April to have the avionics guy do it? I saw in the STEC30 manual that there are adjustment screws for the roll servos, but I'm not sure that is what needs to be adjusting. (And I have a feeling I shouldn't mess with it.)
