Hey guys, my plane is out of annual. Shopping locally, the Piper shop here wants to (start out at) $2,000. And I know she's going to need a few things.

I know of a family friend who is an A&P and owns a V-35. Would there be a bad side to possibly taking it up to him and letting him do it?
