Went through the 140 yesterday, from the battery, inside the cockpit, to the alternator, looking for any obvious signs of corrosion or bad wires. Nothing! Replaced the alternator last week & had the Bat/Alt master replaced in 2016. Thought about replacing the voltage reg. with the Zeftronics but if the problem is somewhere else, that isn’t going to solve anything. My question is, “ does a fluctuating ammeter indicate that long term damage is occurring in your electrical system”?
The other problem is, I can’t find anyone willing to touch this Issue. They all politely indicate they’re to busy or that they might spend mega hours on this & never find an answer.
