Hi All,
I'm reaching out to the forum to uncover any issues with the Piper PA38 Tomahawk. Yes, a pre-buy in person inspection will be accomplished.

No Hail/Corrosion
My mission is to get my PPL. I have flown PA38, 150, 152, 172, Coupe and find the TH to be a "Keep the training real and honest". As my instructor says; "You train for the real thing and you train well".
Anyways, I'll be going through the FAA site to review reoccurring ADs on the airframe, engine, and propeller. So if you can reply with "Check on this" or "This will be an upcoming unanticipated expense", maybe a "Big unexpected annual inspection item" that would be greatly appreciated.
I understand the TH is 40+ years and will need to be upgraded, I just don't want a big ticket, long lead work time issues that could have been identified before hand.
