Well, as much as I hate to do it, I have to sell my airplane. I moved from Texas to Georgia about a year ago and now looks like I am heading overseas for a while where it's just about impossible to own an airplane. :(

Anyway, I don't have too much time to sell it, so I am just doing an E-bay auction. If you are interested in it, it's item # 130933379979. I am not linking the site to keep the spam bots away and try not to violate any TOS's.

Have you considered just having a friend store it for you until you return?

It's not really worth it in my opinion. I will be gone for a minimum of 3 years and to me that would be almost as bad as leaving my wife for someone to take care of her while I was gone! :D

Several of my friends own aircraft overseas. What about taking it with you?

There is one bid at $17,000 right now, a few days to go. May be worth a look for someone interested.

I didn't see any reserve that wasn't met, so the bid may of already met the minimums.

I am interested in your plane but have a couple of questions: How many hours have you logged in her over the past two years? Also, do you plan on having the annual done before you sell her?

I have put about 20 hours on it over the last couple of years. I do not plan on having an annual done on it...I would assume the buyer would want a decent pre-buy done on it.

As for taking it with me...you know how much AvGas costs in Germany?!? Oh no...:(
