Hi all,
Recently purchased a 1966 pa-28 180 C cheerokee. everything was good and we had an A&P give us a signed document saying the plane is in fact airworthy. however, it has a constant speed prop rather than a fixed pitch. I've done tons of google searches and found out that this was an option to have a hartzell constant speed prop installed. I'm not looking for opinions on how its performance isnt increased much if any (I've read posts debating that already haha). but i am curious if anyone could point me towards finding any supplemental data for this type of plane. such as charts depicting best rmp/man. pressure settings, emergency procedures, checklists which include prop governor settings. (quick bio: I'm attending an aviation school to be a professional pilot and have formed a habit of having a checklist on hand so that is why I'm being a bit picky). I have found an STC http://rgl.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_G...5D906DECE03D9B3286257EE0006BB594?OpenDocument
but am unable to get any further. any help will be much appreciated and I'm looking forward to joing the piper community.
