I've recently noticed more experimental airplanes being wrapped instead of painting. The other day a fellow pilot informed me he was getting his certified airplane wrapped. I had seen airliners wrapped but never heard of GA. I checked into it and there is a local wrap company that works with your A&P. Has anyone on the forum had a GA airplane wrapped (certified or experimental)? Had experience or knowledge with wrapping a plane? If so what were the pros and cons vs paint? I'm really looking for an answer here from someone who has experience and technical knowledge with it. There are always trade offs.
