My annual is about done, the bill should be finalized today. The A&P mentioned that I have the wheel pants but no strut fairings. I hadn't missed them. They didn't come from the seller when I bought the plane. I did some research & see new ones for about $330, just the 2 main gear. Like I said, I already have 3 wheel pants installed.

Should I pursue adding strut fairings, either new or used? The wheel covers are O.K., but are the strut covers bothersome in any way? I saw new ones, a rather simple aluminum cover, made to attache easily. I said I would hold off for at least a while. I still have to absorb the annual cost for now. Once it's all back together I can get a better idea of how much the drag can be reduced with a cover. He did remove 2 unused antennas & I like to get all the speed reasonably possible.
