So it's been a while since I've really had to think through a W&B calculation since so far I've been solo with little baggage. A while back, a helpful member on here sent me an Excel spreadsheet set up for a 161. In looking at that sheet and also looking at setting up an iPhone app for my 235 I'm lost as to how much detail to put in.

Do most of you sit down and add up every single entry in the W&B sheets in the POH? Or just use empty weight numbers from factory? (Maybe make adjustments based on noted equipment changes...)

Thoughts?
