I recently replaced my wet compass with a vertical card compass (vcc). It did not give the correct magnetic direction. I sent it back, and was told that it is working correctly, and that my pa-28-180D must have electrical interference in the area of the vcc mounting.
Have any of you experienced this, and what did you do to permanently correct the issue?
