I looked around and can't find another thread regarding my issue. Here's the dilemma, I'm training on my 1978 Archer II. I purchased an 11" universal Fuelhawk dipstick but have not been able to celebrate it because my flight instructor does not want me to get into the habit of leaving the plane without topping the tanks off. Does anyone have a calibration card that I can use so I can have a round about estimate of how much fuel I have in the tanks? I understand there may be slight discrepancies but as a student I'm only flying for an hour or two at a time and the dipstick is more of a novelty for me.
