We have a 75 Cherokee 140 with the trim wheel between the seats. There is a wire indicator that is supposed to indicate trim position but it does not work properly. I have removed the cover and everything looks OK. Any suggestions to get it working? It moves but not consistently, looks like it is sticking. Roll the wheel a couple of time and it will advance then stop. I can't see it making contact but it obviously is making contact somewhere. Tips or experience with this would be much appreciated.
