So a few years decided to paint my aircraft and after receiving a few quotes that did not like😬😬 decided to see if wrapping was an option and I contacted FAA and I was simply told you can't do that unless I hire an Engineer to that can proof to them that will not changed the flying characteristics of the aircraft. So basically I had to bite the bullet and paint the aircraft. Anyway now I see YouTube videos that pilots are wrapping their aircraft and when questioned them they say the IA signed on it. Does anyone have any experience in this that can speak to it?
