Looking for advice please, for the last month or so when I start my plane for the first time of the day it takes a bit longer than normal to get it started. The fuel pressure is a little low.
I talked to the shop that overhauls these for $600 and he said if is a Weldon then the fuel flow can be adjusted.
I can see a screw adjustment between the in and out flow of the pump.
Can my mechanic adjust that to see if it flows with a higher pressure?
And is the problem with the pump or the motor. The motor sounds fine, it just seems like the flow is too slow. Like a impeller isnt doing a complete job or something like that. I don't even know if there's an impeller in it or not.

Anyone have experience with this pump.
The motor says 8850-5 and I think the pump is 481-780 and the whole Assy 67881-005.

I'm just trying to find an inexpensive solution v/s the $600 overhauled pump.
And advice would be greatly appreciated.
