They now have two prototypes of this plane flying. It is the match of the F22 which we, in our wisdom, decided was too expensive. Of note is that Indian aviation companies are partnered with Sukhoi for production, and the Indian air force will buy some.

Boeing has large parts of its planes built in China. Cessna also does assembly of their sport plane in China. Cirrus is now OWNED by a Chinese company.

Maybe we can buy our figher aircraft from India.
