My strobe power unit (pa32r-301) isn't working. Thinking about upgrading to LED strobes (aveo galactica). How hard is it to rewire the plane because the LED units don't need the power supply unit? I figure a power unit is $400 to $500 while the leds are $1300. I dont know the life span of the strobe lights or power units but I am assuming the LEDs last a very long time.

If it requires running new wire through the wing then I may opt for just replacing the power supply.
