Just installed the Stratus ESG in my plane and love it. I flew to Class C airspace and landed. Took back off and came home. I was in C airspace for 13 minutes. The automated report said that I failed the ADS-B check but it was going to be reviewed. The next day I received an email from the FAA stating that I had passed and they gave me the code to redeem the rebate. I completed the web form and a week later received my check.
The ESG was $3,500 installed and it is done so now I don't have to worry about the 2020 mandate anymore. Here is a picture of my panel with the ESG. Came out better than I thought it would.
