Wondering if anyone else has seen this. I have the Electroaire EIS in my 1971 Arrow (Lycoming IO-360C1C). Spark plugs and wires for the EIS were replaced 90 hours ago.

Recently, engine started to stutter while in cruise with mix leaned as per usual procedure. Richening made it smooth out. Pulled the plugs to have a look, and found the #3 electrode and metal prongs (don't know what they're called) were pretty melted. See pic of the two plugs side by side - both have the same time on them.

Wondering what the issue could be? Perhaps time to purchase a borescope camera to have a look at the valves.
