I just tried SiriusXM's CA $39/month (US $29) "Pilot for ForeFlight" plan with Garmin Pilot on Android and my GDL 51, and it works.
That's really nice for me, because it gives me Canadian TAFs and METARs in the air for CA $20/month less than the CA $59/month (US $44) "Pilot Preferred" plan.
I don't know if there's anyone else in the forum with my setup (Android devices, GDL 51 portable SiriusXM receiver, and a requirement for Canadian weather data), but if there is, this might be useful to you.
