To someone who loves to see these aircraft in their proper element, I feel the same about museum poeces as an ornathologist feeld about caged birsd. OTOH, it's possible to build authentic replicas, Peter Jackson of LOTR fame has a whole stable of them, and even rotary engines aren't in short supply. Given their construction with the absence of difficult to reproduce forgings, it's even possible to build a full-size replica of a rotary engine. And due to the flying characteristics of early aircraft, the abomination of fitting them with a modern engine can be avoided.
