I am looking at forecast weather into Oshkosh and looks like flying north will avoid some bad weather. What is required to overfly Canadian airspace besides an ICAO flight plan? Are you required to communicate with Canadian ATC when going VFR? I understand that Canada assesses a user fee for ATC services. How is the billing done?
