Right Mag intermittent readings and rough running engine.

On a mag check at 2000 RPM on my 1979 Warrior I have a great reading on left mag. On the right mag I show about 1940, then my electronic Tac bounces to zero and the engine stumbles then it goes to around 1600 and then back to 1940 or so. It cycles quickly. Mechanic pulled the mag and did a visual on the mag which looks great. The mags just had an IRAN 4 months ago. Plugs pulled and cleaned. Problem persists. Gonna check with company who inspected the mags if we could have another issue, and should I send the mag for a bench test. I am hoping someone may have had this issue.
