Has anyone ever used the Desser 'Monster Tread' retread tires? In researching, I've found a mix of good and bad things said about retreads. One of the things that has me concerned though is the occasional comment about re-tread tires having a larger OD - and the possibility of getting stuck in the gear well.

I've yet to see a concrete data point on the larger dimension though, and haven't seen a hard comment from an Arrow driver who has said, "Yeah, they work for me." or "No, they get stuck, stay away."

Any Arrow owners gone this route before?
