Problem when installing Rosen Sun Visors in PA28

I tried the search function already but found nothing helpful.

I bought the Rosen Sun Visors to replace center mount OEM sun visors. I removed the plastic piece which is covering the upper front window frame as described in the instructions. I found the line of rivets to be so tight, that I can't squeeze the bracket in between two of the existing rivets as it should be per the installation instructions.

Can somebody who did the install on his PA28 shed some light on this? Is my Piper different from others (PA 28-140 #25392) or I am not getting the instructions right? Pictures would be appreciated.
