Hello All

I thought this might spark a good discussion about flight skills. The following video is about AeroPeru flight 603.

October 2, 1996 AeroPeru Flight 603, a 4 year old Boeing 757, departed Lima airport with the pitot static ports covered with tape the result was erratic and untrustworthy airspeed and altitude information which led to a crash of the aircraft.

We can all make judgements in hindsight, but what can we learn from this incident? What skills as pilots must we always keep sharp to prevent such incidents?
