Time for new side windows...

I need to locate this kit prior to cutting out the rear door window on my 6. This kit is supposed to be the frame that would hold the new glass in place. I can't seem to find this thing. Any ideas please?

And on a similar note, I would like to discuss this operation with anyone with prior experience.
