Is anyone familiar with products or techniques for protecting buttons and screens on instrument panels? I'm referring to button letters that get worn off, scratched or get grimy. Cleaning them often results in additional damage by removing paint or winding up with cleaning material between keys. With Covid I've seen some things that cover light switches and buttons are more suitable for larger surfaces and therefore are not suitable. I know new avionics now use mostly touch screens but many of us have older equipment that will be here for awhile and could use some help like this. However, perhaps the same need might go for screens.
