Hi all - First post, and new owner of a FG Saratoga - my first plane- 1981 PA-32-301. Enjoying the forums, and have gotten some great tips and advice from reading other peoples' questions.

I want to swap out the anti-collision light in the tail with an LED, and was wondering if something like this would work? Would it be a drop in replacement or would I have to do some extra wiring?

Also, the wingtip strobes and nav light cluster is dim and the lenses are pretty worn and I wanted to replace them with these. Same question - just plug and play? Or am I opening a can of worms?

Lastly, I have no beacon, which is strange, as every other GA plane I've flown since day 1 has had a beacon. Is it something worth doing or would the increased visibility with the above mods be sufficient?

Thanks for any advice or things to watch out for.
