Trying to work out a high oil temp issue on my Lyc. IO-360-1C1. The mechanic has checked the gauge/sender with a calibrated thermometer and is reading high. First thought is to change the temp sender but I am having difficulty locating a part number. My parts list does not show it. A google search for Piper oil temperature probe yields two part numbers , 553-672 supercedes 486-441. searching these numbers gives a actual part but before I order it, I would like some way to verify that these are the correct number/part. Can anyone help me with this?
