I want to plan a trip to KCOE from CYQU for later in June but my issue is clearing customs into the States. I was hopeful that a smaller airport near the border would provide customs so that I would not have to go into KGEG. If anything like major airports in Canada, if I land at KGEG I would face large fees etc. Does anyone have any experience going into GEG and customs or point out a different AOE within a reasonable distance? I have looked on the CBP website at points but see nothing suitable. Porthill may not work for the Saratoga to get in and out of there. I would also most likely be IFR flight. Any thoughts? Thanks.
