Hello everyone. I'm a new member from Arizona. I have been an owner of a 1975 PA-28-180 (Archer I) for close to twelve years now. I do a lot of maintenance myself and try to assist with annuals as much as possible. This airplane is likely the only airplane I will ever own.
I am interested in sharing maintenance tips. I have learned a few things along the way and hope to learn from other members here. I have recently committed to undertake a major (for me) avionics upgrade to join the WAAS GPS world and comply with ADS-B and will share what I learn along the way if others are interested. In the past, I participated in the old Piper Owner Society forum until it wasn't that user friendly anymore. I am glad to have found a Piper oriented site again.
It would be fun to meet up with other Cherokee/Piper owners in Arizona for flyouts, safety piloting, etc.
